Design aficionados understand the pivotal role of color in creating focal points amidst a neutral palette. Witness how a judicious splash of color, such as the Pura NFC® Wood Décors, can transform a building's facade into a minimalist masterpiece.
Design Meets Innovation
Design professionals use varying amounts of colors and textures to create the look they crave. The right balance of these design elements creates a completely different look. Check out how the varying amount of Trespa Pura sidings and stucco creates a whole new appeal for these facades.
Colors and Textures
On this façade on an apartment building in Cupertino, the cool pale color and texture of the stucco creates a neutral background. They used Trespa Pura Romantic Walnut sparingly here, but the warm natural wood tones still manage to liven up the exterior façade. Trespa Pura wood decors are available in nine different colors. They are high-performance claddings that appear to be real wood. But they're not. Trespa Pura is actually a high pressure laminate (HPL) that offers an exceptionally low maintenance panel.
Alternatively, on the façade at the pool area (below), they elected to feature Trespa Pura predominantly. The stucco remains in the background. By adding more of the warmer Trespa Pura wood décor color tones, it creates a completely different look and feel. See how inviting Trespa Pura sidings brighten up this façade? It makes you want to pull up a chair. Enjoy life.
You can design a striking balance by varying the amount of each cladding element, especially on projects with limited budgets. From a cost standpoint, stucco is a very inexpensive cladding option. So, architects and designers will often use it to help balance the cladding budget for a project design.
