With the fluctuating price of building materials on everyone’s mind nowadays, it is difficult to set a budget for a construction project. Yes, there are some siding prices that have gone up. Pura NFC Siding by Trespa is a low maintenance, premium cladding option
While the pandemic and its aftermath have wreaked havoc on the building material supply chain, pricing, and material availability, there’s hope. More popular siding materials are now readily available for most products. Depending on your project budget there are some premium siding options that may fit your needs.
The siding market looks very different this year than it has in the past. Softwood siding costs have gone way up, especially the upper grades of western red cedar. Hardwood siding prices have dropped a lot. Although vinyl siding prices went up a bit, they are still the cheapest siding price available. Thermally modified wood siding is a very reasonably priced siding option for wood lovers.
Please Note* Siding costs can change without notice at any time. Prices and availability vary, too, from region to region. Always be sure to contact your local suppliers for current siding prices and availability in your area.

The big news for 2023 siding costs is the off-the-charts high price of western red cedar siding, especially the upper grades. People love the warm natural look of cedar. But right now, cedar is very difficult to find – and when you can find it, the price is staggering. Hopefully there will be more availability and lower prices soon, but for now - Wow!
So, if you love the look of cedar siding, but can’t afford the price, two great options to consider are thermally modified Hemlock and Trespa Pura NFC siding.
Thermally modified Hem Fir siding is as beautiful as cedar and is priced mid-range. It is all natural, real wood that is exceptionally durable. ThermaWood Hemlock siding can be painted or stained with oil-based products, just like cedar wood siding.
