Trespa Pura is a nice choice for a premium cladding option. But did you know it works fantastic for soffits, too? Trespa architectural cladding is available in 8 wood décor colors and several Uni Colors as well. This residential home in Virginia Beach features 2 different Uni Colors to blend with their other siding materials.
Because of their patented manufacturing process, Trespa claddings perform exceptionally well, even in harsh marine weather conditions. Trespa is durable, easy to install and is highly resistant to fading from UV exposure. Better yet, Trespa Pura meets the wind load requirements that are often needed in this hurricane prone maritime area.
On this project, they selected Trespa Pura Pure White (P05.0.0) for the soffits on the oceanfront side of the residence. On this side of the property, the lighter color helps brighten the underside of their deck without adding extra heat or direct sunlight. Excellent choice. This awning also provides a shaded area and protects the rooms inside from the blast of direct UV rays at mid-day. Inside or outside, there’s a comfortable place to rest, relax, entertain, gaze at the sea or people watch.
For the front entryway, another Uni Color cladding option, Trespa Pura Anthracite Gray (P25.8.1), looks very nice on the soffits. Here, the darker color tones are a nice contrast against to the lighter hues of the stonework. The colors work well together and create a welcoming entry to this seaside home.
Trespa is being specified more and more frequently for soffits - and for good reasons. The look is very appealing, and the performance is excellent. The assortment of wood decors and Uni color decors offer a wide-ranging palette for owners, builders and designers to work with. Trespa provides a low-maintenance soffit option, and because Trespa is installed as an open-joint rainscreen, there’s built-in ventilation in soffit areas.
And now, there are better installation options for Trespa Pura than ever. The Climate-Shield CST1 rainscreen clip speeds up Trespa installation time, saves labor costs and provides a higher performing pressure equalized rainscreen for Trespa siding or soffits. When used as a siding Trespa installs with fastening up to 24” on center. For soffit areas, though, it is recommended that Trespa Pura be supported with fasteners at 16” on center, or closer, if you prefer.
